Insight Global is seeking an experienced 3 Backend Developer to join a team of engineers responsible for end-to-end application delivery sitting offshore in India. This will include coordination with required teams for production deployments, monitoring application health and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), support triage of any production issues as and when needed and collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, and platform issues. You will be expected to jump right in and help lead the team, and the ability to work with high level stakeholders across all lines of business. You must come with an excellent understanding of GCP and ability to communicate its best practices to necessary teams. This position will also require you to work off hours when needed, specifically having to hop on calls in IST (Indian Standard Time). This position is set for 12 months sitting remote in India with a pay rate of $10-$15/hr.

- 5+ years of experience in Backend Development with Java/J2EE
- Experience with Springboot Framework
- Strong Experience with GCP
- Experience working with Unit testing using framework such as Junit, Mockito, JBehave
- Experience building and deploying services using Gradle, Maven Jenkins for CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with Oracle, PostrgeSQL
- Excellent Communication skills
- Experience with Search Platforms such as Elastic Search
- Experience with SRE Frameworks such as Open Telemetry
