Job Description
Insight Global is looking for manufacturing System Engineers to support projects in the Middletown, RI area. This person will be working on integrating new machines into the environment and overseeing projects related to digital data collection from CAM. This will be end to end product implementation from requirements gathering in Excel, Jira and Confluence from shop floor stakeholders, working with development teams, and through implementation. They will work with vendors to coordinate any changes, work with internal IT to make process changes in their software and then pull data from machines. They will be largely involved in verification and validation testing

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience as a System Engineer supporting Manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with CAM systems and an understanding of how they interface with manufacturing equipment.
Exposure to digital data from manufacturing machines on a shop floor
Understanding of 3D models
Strong requirement gathering skills and using Jira, Confluence, Excel or DOORS
Testing knowledge for verification and validation
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Technology, or related fiel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Pipe Welding or Pipe Bending Experience
Experience with Majestic, optiNEST, or SignaNEST CAM/nesting software
Strong SDLC knowledge
