Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Engineer to support a large HVAC customer with a local branch in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This person will be apart of a team who are writing and designing hardware design packages for HVAC equipment (ie air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, roof top units, etc.). Having a strong understanding of HVAC hardware is required and ability to look into the sequence of operation and even design a sequence of operation is required. This company will train on their proprietary BAS software – previous experience utilizing a BAS is a big plus! There will be a ton of training available in the team – will be able to train through shadowing opportunities and videos, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

-Familiarity of Building Automation Systems
-no programming required
-Strong understanding of HVAC hardware
-Experience reviewing/editing engineering drawings/sequence of operation
-Local and available to go onsite to the Lincoln branch at the beginning and once ramped up, hybrid schedule – may only need to go to the branch office 1 day a week.
