Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing mechanical and I&E maintenance, maintenance and outage planning and scheduling, reliability, and utilities/environmental systems/site infrastructure. This role involves working collaboratively with the operations team to create and lead a world-class maintenance department.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead a cross functional team (along with external contractors) with primary responsibility for availability (uptime) of our site equipment and utilities. The team should leverage effective use of the CMMS, predictive and proactive maintenance methods while ensuring site compliance with all PSM, state and federal permits and other regulations at the Dexter Rd location. This role and team also provide support for the New Rd warehouse facility. Ensure all work complies with environmental, health, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
Utilize expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance methods, Process Safety Management, and Mechanical Integrity to ensure safe and productive operations.
Participate in safety and environmental initiatives to comply with State/Federal regulations and improve existing company programs. Provide supplemental safety training as needed.
Collaborate with site leaders and corporate team members to establish maintenance and reliability engineering goals, financial performance targets, and objectives.
Manage the maintenance budget, including approving maintenance expense and capital spending budgets, ensuring project completion within budget guidelines.
Monitor and analyze costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and improvements, including developing an equipment life cycle management program.
Develop schedules and lead annual shutdowns, including detailed budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
Develop and maintain the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and CMMS to drive predictive and reliability-centered maintenance.
Ensure mechanical reliability programs and procedures support plant operations. Direct activities of the sites Reliability team and mechanical integrity program to ensure compliance with all PSM regulations.
Oversee the operation of all utilities, air pollution control equipment, energy center, boilers, and water treatment systems.
Manage site storeroom daily activities and spare parts inventory to ensure effective utilization of maintenance activities.
Define maintenance policies and processes to drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and facilities.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Monitor key performance metrics (e.g., PM on-time completion, schedule compliance, planning accuracy) and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on these metrics.
Approve, oversee, and monitor maintenance contractors.
Lead, influence, build, and develop diverse and cross-functional teams across various experience levels and skill sets.
Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills & Experience

Comprehensive understanding of life safety standards and work permitting.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years of chemical plant manufacturing experience
Proven experience with CMMS systems and the ability to track, manage, and optimize maintenance workflows.
Proficiency in project coordination, preventative maintenance programming, and management.
Well-versed in plant maintenance standards, engineering and project standards, Process Safety Management, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), environmental compliance standards, Quality Process Management, Management of Change, budget preparation, and project management.
Proven management and leadership skills.
Proven experience with TPM and Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to ensure accurate tracking of maintenance activities and optimize the maintenance workflow.
Utility experience including boilers, water treatment systems, energy centers, and air pollution control equipment.
Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite; Project Management Software, CMMS.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

OSHA, PSM, RCRA, HAZWOPER certification, and certification in a facility trade.
Experience in manufacturing operations and maintenance.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
