Our client is seeking a skilled Endpoint Vulnerability Management Engineer to join a focused team addressing a high volume of workstation vulnerabilities across a large enterprise environment. This role is critical in identifying, engineering, and deploying solutions to reduce endpoint risk and improve overall security posture. Key responsibilities include:
Vulnerability Management:
Analyze and manage vulnerabilities across Windows 10 and 11 workstations.
Research CVEs using sources like CISA, NIST, and CVE databases to understand the impact and remediation paths.
Interpret vulnerability data from tools such as Qualys or similar platforms.
Solution Engineering & Deployment:
Design, test, and deploy remediation solutions for identified vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with desktop engineering teams to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to patching and endpoint hardening.
Lab-Based Testing:
Work onsite in a lab environment with a small, agile team.
Conduct hands-on testing of patches and configurations before enterprise-wide rollout.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with security, IT operations, and compliance teams to align on remediation strategies.
Provide documentation and reporting on vulnerability trends and resolution progress.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $57/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

35 years of experience in vulnerability management or endpoint security engineering.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11; Mac OS experience is a plus.
Familiarity with enterprise-level workstation security and patch management.
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable).
Ability to read and interpret CVE reports and security advisories from CISA, NIST, etc.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and remediating endpoint vulnerabilities.
Hybrid schedule: Onsite in Woonsocket, RI on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Security+ or CISSP certification.
