Insight Global is sourcing for a detail-oriented and analytical Web Application Tester and Business Analyst to join a national security and technology company. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the web applications, while also gathering and analyzing business requirements to support the development team. This dual role requires a blend of technical testing skills and business analysis expertise. The project is to develop a new web-based solution to accept and process applications from MA residents seeking commission as a notary public. There will be a portal for Citizens who can submit their applications online and an internal portal for employees of Massachusetts to review and process.
In the initial phases of the project will require Business Analyst functions by gathering requirement and providing UX design mock up creation. When entering the development phase of the project, you will be responsible for manual testing. Each sprint is 2 weeks, working in an agile environment. You will collaborate with project sponsors at the State to determine the business requirements and technical scope of work. This is a brand new technical project expected to run over the next few years, and to start this position will be a 9-12 month contract with the potential to extend. This positions allows for fully remote work, yet you must be comfortable working eastern hours to align with the client. · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· At least 5 years of professional experience
· Prior experience working with stakeholders and technical project teams to prioritize and manage business requirements as a Business Analyst
· Screen wireframe/mockup creation experience utilizing any appropriate tool, Adobe XD preferred for UI/UX requirements.
· Manual software testing experience, with strong SQL knowledge and Apache JMeter
· Experience with testing APIs with any tools, SoapUI and/or Swagger preferred.
· Comfortability working eastern hours, 40/hours per week.
