Insight Global is seeking an Interoperability Engineer Role for a top Aerospace client. This position will be working on Mechanicals parts for Model-Based Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection initiatives. You will be responsible for determining what type of data they need to communicate with other processes. In this role the selected candidate will leverage 3D technology and automation by embedding it within product definition, manufacturing and quality control practices to achieve significant on-time-delivery, quality and cost improvements before inspection.
The position is based in Longueuil, Quebec and will be 5 days a week in office

Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably mechanical, aerospace, industrial or software).
3-5 years of experience in related field. (preferably mechanical, aerospace, automotive, industrial or software).
Experience working on difficult and complex Mechanical Parts and the modeling of those parts
Excellent knowledge of CAD modeling (e.g. CATIA, NX, Creo) with mechanical parts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Fluently bilingual in French and English
