The main function of a marketing assistant is to research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine potential sales of a product or service. A typical marketing assistant is responsible for gathering information on competitors and methods of marketing and distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.
Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.
Seek and provide information to help companies determine their position in the marketplace.
Purpose of the Team: This is the Digital Program Team. They focus on customer evidence to include collaborating with agencies to conduct interviews and understand how customers are leveraging Microsoft technologies to drive improvements.
Key projects: This role will contribute to ongoing management of various agencies, coordinate with internal teams to submit content through the publishing tool, and handle day-to-day agency operations.
Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 20% weekly meetings with agencies and the sponsor, 70% heads down, working on the program and how to improve it.
