Insight Global is looking for 2 payroll clerks for a 6-month contract with a HCM/payroll company, with the potential to convert permanent. These roles are part of a greater service delivery team and will be responsible for supporting a national client to provide administrative payroll services. General responsibilities include:
- Data Entry: Input and update employee information in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Timekeeping: Review and verify timesheets for accuracy, ensuring all hours worked are recorded and approved.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries in a timely manner.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and the client as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for auditing purposes.
- Communication: Liaise with HR and other departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and address any issues that arise.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the payroll department, including filing, answering phones, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing new payroll procedures.
- Process Payroll: Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring all data is entered correctly and on time.

- Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.
- Comfortable navigating professional software.
