Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Data Pipeline Development:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and manage large datasets from various sources.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the data lifecycle.



Database Management:

Develop and manage databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.

Optimize database performance and ensure data security and compliance.



Data Integration:

Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, databases, and external data providers.

Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure seamless data flow.



Collaboration:

Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects and initiatives.



5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Provide data insights and support data analysis efforts.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.



6. Performance Optimization:

- Monitor and improve data pipeline performance and efficiency.

- Implement best practices for data storage, retrieval, and processing.



7. Documentation and Support:

- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and methodologies.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Required Skillsets:



Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

- Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop.

- Strong knowledge of SQL.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Databricks).



Data Management:

- Experience with ETL tools and processes.

- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.

- Ability to work with large, complex datasets and perform data wrangling.



Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

- Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights.



Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
