Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an IT Technician for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading construction company in Quebec City. This position is fully onsite, five days per week, and offers the opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires adaptability, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a customer-focused approach. The IT Technician will provide first-level technical support, manage 20–30 ServiceNow tickets daily, respond to general IT inquiries, and resolve hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include computer deployments and setups, boardroom AV support, Microsoft Teams configurations, and day-to-day end-user support.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience troubleshooting IT hardware and software issues, with a basic understanding of networking concepts (routers, switches, DNS).
Experience in Windows environments, with experience setting up and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams and AV rooms
Hardware experience with Apple products including iPhones and iPads (ios environment)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer-service mindset, supporting users at all levels—including high-demand executives and office staff.
Strong coordination skills, with the ability to work well within a team
Bilingual (English/French) is required.
Ability to manage and resolve technical issues independently while coordinating with internal IT teams for escalation when necessary.
Valid driver’s license is required.
