Job Description

One of our large pharmaceutical clients is actively hiring for a Safety Curriculum Designer to lead a Live Virus Vaccine Manufacturing Facilitys safety training and orientation efforts. The current trainings are either nonexistent or outdated so main responsibilities include:
- Develop Business Process to create Comprehensive Safety Orientation for the facilities processes and equipment. Iterative approach to design with stakeholder feedback: Build an outline, develop alignment with appropriate stakeholders, then develop content.
-Conduct background research and gather appropriate materials to create effective, accurate safety training content to include background information, P&IDs (piping and instrumentation diagrams), SOPs, Hazardous Energy Control/Minor Service Exemption decisions.
-Determine best medium for content (Video, Slide Deck, any assessments).
-Work with L&D (learning and development) Partners to have content added to permanent curriculum and have path for updates.
-Deploy content for initial onboarding and enduring training for new employees.

The content should provide an onboarding training and hazard recognition for anyone new to the facility or coming into the facility. The equipment and processes they will be providing safety trainings for are drug product filling isolators, lyophilization cabinets (big dry freezer), parts washer autoclaves, thaw baths, formulation isolators, H2 02 systems.

This is a hybrid position.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree preferred in Sciences or Engineering
3-5 years experience in Learning & Development
Safety or Hazardous Material Content/Curriculum development
Manufacturing/GMP experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Industrial engineering, industrial hygiene, industrial equipment background
