Insight Global is assisting a signal processing and optical telecommunications client of ours in West Chester, PA in identifying a Network Engineer for an opening they have.
Job Responsibilities
Network design and implementation for infrastructure improvements
Network Maintenance and monitoring
Network security management
Network Documentation
Support for network integration of WMI products
Deep dive debug/diagnostic/resolution of network issues at all layers (physical cabling issues to application layer issues)
Assistance with other IT related projects as needed

Associates or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar
5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in networking administration and design
Experience with the configuration and management of network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) in multi-vendor configurations (Mikrotik, Netgear, Cisco, Netgate, Arista)
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, 802.1x, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
