Job Description
* Develop clean, modular, and reusable code with 90% code coverage.
* Oversee the entire feature delivery process, from requirement gathering to
development and functional testing, which includes writing Jira stories, writing clean
code, writing unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests, and contract tests.
* Ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
* Performing UI/UX testing to identify and fix any issues.
* Enhance and innovate core site functionality
* Communicate effectively across desks / teams / departments
* Help project managers help you
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams driving smart, clean solutions
* Analyze, prioritize, and present
* Advance engineering team efficiencies through process improvement
* Mentor fellow engineers
* Guide stakeholders, taking their business vision to technical reality
* Identify areas of technical improvement in the UI space; plan, define, and lead issues to
execution
* Create, document, and communicate technical designs based on architectural
recommendations
* Assist / lead issue resolution with production support
* Identify project risks and communicate proper mitigation plans with project managers
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Technology or related field; 5+ years relevant experience
Additional 2- 3 Years of Lead experience
3+ years' experience in agile development
Extensive experience implementing UI with an MVC architectural pattern
2+ years' experience with a single page application framework, such as Ember / React.js / Vue.js / Angular.js (we're obvious fans of Tomster
Extensive experience utilizing a RESTful API
Source Control Management experience
Experience architecting CSS for large scale responsive applications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Extensive Ember ecosystem experience including Ember CLI, Ember Fastboot, Ember Data
Handlebars
Jira / Bitbucket
High transactional e-commerce experience
Native app development (iOS /Android)
