Job Description
A Client of Insight Global is seeking an Azure Architect to join their Professional Services organization and support large‑scale Microsoft Azure cloud initiatives. This individual will play a key role in designing, implementing, migrating, and managing scalable, secure, and high‑performing Azure environments for enterprise clients. The Azure Engineer will support both cloud‑native and hybrid architectures and serve as a technical resource throughout the cloud transformation lifecycle, with a significant focus on tenant‑to‑tenant and multi‑cloud migration projects driven by ongoing Healthcare and Finance M&A activity.
Design, implement, and support secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions aligned to business and technical requirements
Execute Azure cloud and tenant‑to‑tenant migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations
Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps best practices
Support cloud networking components including virtual networks, routing, connectivity, and security controls
Design and maintain hybrid and cloud‑native architectures using Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS services
Enforce security, compliance, and governance standards using Azure Policy, RBAC, and identity management solutions
Evaluate and integrate third‑party tools and marketplace services into Azure environments
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients to guide cloud architecture decisions and migration strategies
Monitor, optimize, and support Azure environments to ensure performance, availability, and reliability
Stay current on Azure technologies, best practices, and emerging cloud trends

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting Azure cloud environments
- Experience supporting tenant to tenant cloud migrations
- Strong experience with Azure networking (VNets, subnets, connectivity, security controls)
- Working knowledge of Azure security, identity, and governance (RBAC, Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation tools
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to clearly explain technical work and collaborate with internal teams and customers
