Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Director of Business Development to expand their client base in the United States. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in clinical research services sales who thrives in a consultative, high-integrity environment. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities with biotech and pharma clients.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Analyze potential opportunities and develop tailored business plans and sales strategies.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to proposal development and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Proposals, Operations, Project Management) to align on strategy, pricing, and delivery.
• Educate internal stakeholders on client culture, needs, and expectations to ensure successful handoff and execution.
• Maintain high visibility within client organizations and monitor satisfaction through regular touchpoints.
• Represent PSI at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
• Act as a liaison between U.S. clients and global operations teams as needed.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years of business development experience (in the CRO or clinical research services industry preferred)
• Proven success in external sales roles, ideally selling full-service CRO offerings
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly
