Job Description

One of our large facility maintenance clients is seeking a CUP Supervisor to join their growing team. As a Central Utilities Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for engineering operations and the direction of technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do


Supervise and manage a team of 7, including 1 Lead Technician, 5 Building Engineers, and 1 Maintenance Technician.
Develop and maintain 24-hour operational schedules to ensure continuous and efficient facility operations.
Create and oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
Monitor and report on Central Utility Plant (CUP) performance metrics to ensure optimal system functionality.
Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
Review work orders and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
Inspect the work performed by staff members to ensure quality and completeness.
Confirm that all work is complete, equipment is fully functional, and client spaces are in prime working condition.
Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
Apply standard principles with growing practical experience.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively by exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and checking for understanding.
