Job Description

A large healthcare provider is seeking a Penetration Tester to join its cybersecurity team. This individual will be part of the Red Team, responsible for executing offensive security initiatives across the organization. Daily responsibilities include conducting internal and external penetration tests, simulating adversarial attacks, and identifying vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications.
The tester will collaborate with other security professionals to document findings, provide remediation recommendations, and contribute to strengthening the organization’s overall security posture. The role requires strong technical skills, creativity in attack simulation, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3–5 years of experience working as a Penetration Tester
- Demonstrated expertise in Red Team operations and advanced penetration testing techniques
- Hands-on experience with offensive security initiatives including: Internal and external penetration testing, Adversarial simulations, Red team operations targeting infrastructure, applications, and user awareness
- Proven ability to exploit systems, escalate privileges, and identify security gaps in complex environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- OSCP – Offensive Security Certified Professional
- Prior experience working in healthcare environments or with healthcare data
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare-specific threat models
