Job Description

Job Summary:
The patient access representative is responsible for ensuring smooth patient access and flow within the healthcare facility. This role combines administrative duties with clinical support, providing comprehensive care and service to patients. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. This outpatient burns clinic sees anywhere between 15-20 patients a day.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with patient scheduling
Insurance verification
Answer patient calls
Collect copays
Check patients in and out

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of healthcare administrative experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR)
