Job Description
Our Global Life Sciences client is looking to hire a Scrum Master for a 12-month contract. This role will be remote work from home. The web team is moving from Waterfall to Agile, so this Scrum Master will work to facilitate and deliver product features, enhancements and fixes. This person's duties will be to manage timeliness, resolve problems, and coach team members to create flexible and full-productive teams during sprints. The web team just completed upgrading the website to a new platform and are now working on 4-5 different projects. This Scrum Master will be managing a team of 5 resources, and most of the developers are India-based. This person should be able to coordinate sprints and daily stand-ups, facilitate internal communication and work to build a productive environment - an ability to juggle multiple tasks will be preferred. The team uses Jira and Confluence, but any experience with similar tools will be helpful, as well as general infrastructure and IT software acumen. The pay rate we are targeting is $54.50/hr

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science field or equivalent experience
Experience working with MS Project, MPP tools, JIRA , Confluence, and Sharepoint or similar tools
Solid understanding of project management, including knowledge of various project methodologies (agile, waterfall)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PMI Disciplined Agile® Scrum Master (DASM) Certification desired
