Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced SAP PPDS Consultant with deep expertise in finite planning and advanced production scheduling within SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing PPDS solutions to support complex manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and implementation of finite planning strategies including Bottom-Up, Backward/Forward Scheduling, and Backlog Management.
• Configure and manage Alternate Resources including Resource Classification and Capacity Planning.
• Set up and maintain finite master data such as Operation/Phase Relationships, Control Keys, and Resource Constraints.
• Implement and support Subcontracting processes within S/4 PPDS.
• Work with IBP/OBP Synchronization Models to ensure seamless integration and planning accuracy.
• Configure and manage MRP Areas in PPDS for localized planning.
• Utilize and optimize tools like the Detailed Scheduling Board and Resource Planning Table for production scheduling.
• Design and manage Process Chains for automated planning and data flows.
• Administer and troubleshoot CIF (Core Interface), including job scheduling and data synchronization between ECC/S4 and APO/PPDS.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS within S/4HANA environments. (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling).
• 2-3 implementations from ECC to S/4.
• Strong understanding of finite capacity planning and advanced scheduling techniques.
• Proven experience with CIF, MRP, and subcontracting processes.
• Familiarity with IBP/OBP integration and synchronization models.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• SAP S/4HANA certification in PPDS or related modules.
• Experience with SAP IBP, Advanced ATP, or Demand-Driven MRP.
• Exposure to process industries or discrete manufacturing environments.
