Insight Global is seeking a skilled and creative Front-End Developer to join our eCommerce team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality web applications that power our digital commerce platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver engaging, responsive, and brand-consistent user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Digital Product Owners, technical leads, QA engineers, and peers to define functional and technical requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers and Digital Marketing teams to translate creative concepts into interactive, brand-aligned web experiences.
Utilize design tools such as Figma to convert prototypes into polished, functional web components.
Leverage Storybook to build, document, and test reusable UI components, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.
Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Create reusable and customizable content blocks to streamline page creation and enhance user engagement.
Integrate front-end components with headless CMS and APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity between front-end and back-end systems.
Optimize site performance for speed, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
Build and maintain automated unit tests to ensure code quality, minimize defects, and enhance application resilience.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle and post-launch phases.

A minimum of 5 years developing and supporting eCommerce solutions for a commercial enterprise
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development (experience in these skills must be in a professional capacity and not just academic)
Proficient understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, including the ability to implement a new integration
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
Knowledge and hands-on experience with block-based development and modular design strategies
Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Storybook for UI component development and testing
Bachelors degree (or demonstrable equivalent work experience) in information technology
Adobe Commerce / Experience Cloud (or equivalent commerce platform)
GitHub (or equivalent code management)
Jira (or equivalent work management)
Confluence (or equivalent knowledge management)
Background in agile development
Familiarity with web performance optimization tools and practices
