Job Description

As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will lead the design, automation, and management of secure CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, reliable, and compliant software delivery. You’ll collaborate across development, infrastructure, and security teams to build and maintain robust runtime environments, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
• Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure and scalable software delivery.
• Define and uphold best practices for source control, release management, and information security.
• Analyze code repositories for vulnerabilities and compliance issues; drive remediation strategies.
• Deploy and manage containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Partner with development teams to build secure, resilient runtime environments.
• Collaborate with platform leads and external vendors to assess and apply upgrades and patches.
• Resolve environmental issues across SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS platforms with third-party technical account managers.
• Ensure application security and reliability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Automate and streamline processes to enhance deployment speed and consistency.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Champion security best practices across teams and act as a liaison for secure development.
• Plan and execute software deployments with minimal downtime and maximum preparedness.
• Foster open, professional communication across all team levels.
• Actively contribute to agile ceremonies, peer reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including diagrams, specifications, procedures, and configurations.
• Provide responsive triage and resolution for issues across development and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevSecOps or equivalent software engineering roles.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to deploy to SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS endpoints.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking and security principles.
• Experience with code quality and security tools (e.g., Veracode, SonarQube).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in information technology or related field.
• Experience with Jira or equivalent work management tools.
• Experience with Confluence or equivalent knowledge management platforms.
• Deployment experience with ERP, CRM, WMS, or eCommerce platforms.
