Job Description
In this role, the QA Analyst II will work day to day within an Agile/DevOps environment to evaluate business requirements and acceptance criteria, design and execute test scenarios, and perform thorough manual testing for new and enhanced applications. The analyst will review application documentation, workflows, and APIs to ensure alignment with user stories and established QA standards, while identifying opportunities to contribute to test automation efforts. Responsibilities also include logging, tracking, and clearly documenting defects with reproducible steps, partnering closely with developers to drive resolution, and validating usability, functionality, and regression impacts to ensure a high quality end user experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test cases/scripts manually in an agile or waterfall project environment
• Create and manage test data in Azure DevOps
• Identify candidates for test automation and contribute to automation scripts or frameworks (preferred).
• Create and manage test cases, test data, and defect tracking in Azure DevOps
• Perform functional, regression, and basic API testing.
• Triage defects, support resolution, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects to ensure quality delivery
• Support regression suite development, including automation where feasible.
• Assist in performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web and enterprise applications using JMeter or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers and architects to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
- 2-5 years of hands-on QA experience
o Manual testing with some automation testing experience
- Test case management tools: Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Working in an Agile Environment/partaking in scrum stand-ups, etc.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Hammer, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
