Insight Global is seeking a purchasing specialist to join our security clients order processing team. This role will serve as the liason between the client and the sales team. Orders will go into a Salesforce que, you will assign yourself to an order, ensure orders are meeting agreement standards, process order, issue PO back to vendor, then hand the order over to the fulfilment team to complete billing/AP/invoicing.
Summary:
* Ensures timely processing of customer orders meeting service-level agreement standards
* Issues accurate purchase orders to vendors
* Track all product related line items (hardware, software, maintenance, etc.) for proof of delivery and follow up with vendors for all unfulfilled items.
* Reconcile vendor invoicing discrepancies
* Work closely with different sales groups to ensure that all transactional contracts are complete, accurate, and meet all internal booking requirements
* Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external partners
* Other duties as assigned
- Bachelors degree in accounting or in a business related field or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (AP/AR)
- Experience working with purchase orders, billing items, or invoices
- Ability to collect and analys data efficiently
- Experience using salesforce or Oracle NetSuite
