Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Program Manager to help drive transformational change in one of the fastest‑moving sectors in technology. Our Program Managers turn complex healthcare challenges into streamlined, high‑performance solutions.

This role is responsible for leading activities across business units for large, complex, multi‑solution implementation projects. The Program Manager oversees the strategic implementation roadmap for enterprise solutions, serves as a trusted adviser to clients, and ensures consistent application of project, program, and change management best practices.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management

Maintain proactive communication with client sponsors and stakeholders, participating in recurring meetings and establishing strong executive presence.
Build relationships across IT, clinical, and ancillary departments.
Partner with clients to establish governance committees and related sub‑committees (change management, education, project awareness, etc.).
Manage corporate‑level and third‑party vendor relationships.
Lead change management and user adoption efforts, implementing plans to drive organizational readiness.

Project Management

Support clients in developing and maintaining project or program charters.
Build detailed plans to deliver on strategic roadmaps while managing interdependencies across solutions.
Deliver weekly commitments and maintain accountability for time, scope, and quality.
Lead risk management activities including identification, mitigation, and contingency planning.
Oversee integration planning, deployment, and root‑cause analysis.
Manage change through formal processes, tracking variances against baseline plans.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness of dependencies that impact accounts receivable.
Lead non‑standard, specialized projects that fall outside typical implementation models.

Outcomes and Quality Management

Understand key business issues and ensure client goals and requirements are met.
Track outcomes and quality measures throughout the project lifecycle, making adjustments as needed.
Balance the business needs of both client and the end client.
Drive timely decisions and necessary trade‑offs.
Incorporate adoption planning and change management into implementation execution.
Transition administration and responsibilities to appropriate teams during project close‑out.
Manage schedules, forecasts, risks, issues, resources, agendas, and documentation using professional services automation tools.

Leadership & Internal Collaboration

Maintain communication with sales teams to support transitions and strategic account planning.
Manage Project Managers across multi‑solution, enterprise‑level engagements.
Navigate matrixed environments and conflicting priorities.
Direct, mentor, and support team members, fostering performance and morale.
Drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities to optimize professional services operations.

Reporting

Create and distribute executive‑level status reports at least monthly.
Build analytical scorecards to support data visibility across projects and programs.
Produce ad‑hoc reports as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of progressive project/program management experience, preferably within healthcare.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple large, complex programs simultaneously with high autonomy.
Proven customer focus, grounded in trust, openness, and delivering on commitments.
Extensive experience in change management and user adoption strategies.
Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills across all organizational levels.
Skilled at building and leading cross‑functional teams in matrixed, geographically dispersed environments.
Expertise across management disciplines including governance, risk, scope, quality, schedule, financial, stakeholder, and resource management.
Strong business acumen and organizational awareness.
Ability to drive operational efficiency and outcomes through strategic execution.
Skilled negotiator with strong conflict‑management capabilities.
Ability to travel Western/Central parts of the US

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Healthcare technology implementation experience
PMP or Scrum Master Certification required.
