Day to Day:
· Working with system architects to build data models from data that is extracted from various sources.
o Complexities of data pipeline between sources, snowflake, power BI. Writing efficient queries fluidly across various tools and scheme language.
· Expert in Power Bi DAX and able to collaborate and make decisions with key business users
· Define requirements, mockups, final content and review process.
· Use Jira to track progress of tasks across various projects,
o Prioritize and providing transparency of efforts, communicating status across team members to aid with coordination.
Job Description:
The Data Analyst is responsible for creating visualizations using Power BI as well as transforming and modeling data primarily using DAX, but also Snowflake, SQL, and dbt. The Data Analyst will work directly with the IT Master Data Management team and business users to understand key metrics and interpret business needs and data requirements. This work will drive the adoption of organizational analytics as the source of truth for key business insights across the company.
