Insight Global is hiring a Lead Microservices Engineer for one of their largest retail clients. This person will be responsible for leading a team of 4-5 talented developers managing the performance, quality and
timelines/deliverables ensuring projects are completed on time. This person will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables, leading scrum ceremonies and standups, providing technical leadership and mentorship of developers, and conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

2+ years of experience in a Lead role - assigning development tasks, following up on testing, participating in stands up/design reviews.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Java development (Microservices and Spring boot).
Experience working in Cloud (preferably GCP - but any cloud experience will work)
CI/CD pipeline experience
Experience with testing tools
Strong communication and proven experience working with both technical teams and the business.
