One of Insight Globals largest clients in the retail industry is looking for a IT Project Manager to join the Technical PM team and help lead mission critical efforts. The IT PM will provide advanced level project management services and supports multiple major (cross-functional) initiatives as well as corporate strategic initiatives and corporate strategy goals. Takes ideas from inception, through development, create and manage the project plan and implementation process, and ultimately ensure the delivery of the solution.
Some other responsibilities:
1. Oversees all aspects of leading large scale projects throughout the Project Lifecycle. 1) Creation/Approval, 2) Monitoring/Adjustments to Plan/Reporting, 3) Implementation/Acceptance, 4) Closure/Post Mortem Reviews.
2. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for strategic projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
3. Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, continuously driving and evaluating project progress, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Maintains all project documentation.
4. Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources as needed while monitoring the financial and corporate portfolio impacts.
5. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Communicate project status to stakeholders. Manage stakeholder and executive level sponsor expectations. Facilitates Steering Group and/or Executive Group level team status meetings and all other communications.
