Insight Global is hiring an integration engineer to support one of our large retail clients. This personal will be responsible for:
Design, develop, and maintain robust software integrations using Java and Spring Boot
Implement and optimize database interactions with SQL/PostgreSQL
Develop and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka or GCP PubSub
Create and maintain comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, contract tests, API component tests
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Architect and implement cloud-based integration solutions in GCP or equivalent cloud environments

3-5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot development
Proven SQL or PostgreSQL experience - understands how integration gets inbound data/publishes data
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with Kafka
Proficiency in testing frameworks - Unit testing, Contract testing, API component testing (Cucumber-type frameworks)
