Insight Global is seeking a Category Manager II for a leading utility client in the Pittsburgh area. The Category Manager will partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives, build sourcing strategies, lead competitive bid processes, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage vendor relationships. This role offers the opportunity to drive cost savings, expand supplier diversity initiatives, influence procurement strategy across the organization, and work cross-functionally with leaders throughout the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive procurement professional with strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to grow their category management expertise within a stable and highly visible organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience
• Experience sourcing IT and/or corporate shared services categories
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Contract negotiation and vendor management experience
• Experience leading or supporting RFP processes and supplier selection
• Strong analytical and spend analysis capabilities
• Ability to influence decision-making across multiple business units
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience developing and executing category strategies
• Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
• Supplier diversity program experience
• ERP system experience, specifically Maximo
• Experience with Power Advocate Energy Intelligence Platform
• Familiarity with e-Sourcing, Spend Analytics, and Contract Management tools
• Utility, energy, or regulated industry experience
• Project management and change management experience
