Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking an experienced highway construction professional who is interested in transitioning into a teaching and mentoring role. As the Advanced Highway Construction Instructor, you'll lead hands-on training and classroom instruction for students ages 16-24, helping them develop the skills needed for careers in the highway construction industry.
This position is fully onsite Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and supports classes of up to 15 students. You'll follow an established curriculum while having the flexibility to incorporate your own industry experience through demonstrations, practical exercises, and real-world examples. Responsibilities include teaching topics such as safety, prints and drawings, rigging and signaling, scaffolding, concrete work, grading, and other highway construction-related skills. Prior teaching experience is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching and developing the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Required Skills & Experience
• Certified or Licensed in Pennsylvania by a professional trade organization (Certification or License must be related to highway construction)
• Must have worked in a field related to Highway Construction for at least 2+ years (Ex.
HVAC experience.
• Ability to teach or demonstrate at least 2/7 listed below:
• Safety
• Prints and Drawings
• Rigging; Signaling
• Scaffolding
• Oxyfuel
• Concrete/Mason tending
• Rod Tying; Grading
• Valid Drivers License
Required to pass a drug screening
