As a Quality Engineer, youll be the sole QE responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of a new evaluation tool for subject matter experts. With no existing code base, youll create test plans and automation frameworks from scratch, working closely with a small, collaborative team to test both frontend and backend components. Your responsibilities will include participating in daily scrum meetings, conducting manual testing of new features (e.g., dataset import, query assignment, feedback submission), developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Youll also perform regression, performance, accessibility, and security testing, document test cases and results, and provide regular updates on testing progress. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in autonomous roles and enjoys building quality processes from the ground up.
