Job Description

Insight Global is a leading staffing and consulting firm, partnering with organizations across various industries. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team for an exciting opportunity with a large transportation client. As the Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our client's new Heavy Maintenance Facility Project.



Responsibilities:



Collaborate with the Project Manager to define project scope, objectives, and feasibility.

Develop budgets, schedules, and force account plans for proposed projects.

Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and manage consultant contracts.

Coordinate design concepts and reviews with Operations departments.

Represent the Authority in interactions with special interest groups, local communities, and government officials.

Assist the Project Manager during procurement and construction stages.

Manage project resources, budgets, and schedules.

Supervise and review the work of a small team of engineers and construction inspectors.

Make independent decisions regarding engineering problems and construction methods.

Ensure compliance with safety and security policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in civil or mechanical engineering



7 years engineering experience



understanding of construction project management techniques



working PC knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets, and project management software



valid driver's license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's Degree or PE registration
