Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Director of Project Controls to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. As the Senior Director of Project Controls this individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of large-scale construction projects with budgets exceeding 500 million and up. All projects fall within the higher education, healthcare and biotech/pharmaceutical space so relevant project experience is required. This individual should have experience specifically overseeing the entirety of the project controls division within the vertical construction space and have experience interfacing with C suite executives. Additionally, this individual will be managing all scheduling and budgeting for this large construction program and must be comfortable working in E-Builder. This is a full-time onsite position.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
managing budgets, schedules, and quality.
Cost Estimation and Monitoring:
Estimate project costs and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor actual costs against the budget and identify any deviations.
Schedule Management:
Develop project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
Ensure adherence to project timelines.
Risk Mitigation:
Establish controls and policies to identify, monitor, and mitigate risk factors that could impact project success.
Address scope changes, supplier performance, and other risk levels.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Review project quality compared to the desired objectives.
Consultation and Guidance:
Provide guidance to project managers on project controls processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Required Skills & Experience

20+ years of specific construction project controls and scheduling experience - experience working at the Senior Director Level
Experience working on large scale projects (500MM and up)
Experience working with E-Builder
Vertical construction project experience specific to the healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences or biotechnology space
Degree is Architecture, Engineering, or Construction

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Master's Degree
PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, CCP
