Job Description

In this role, you’ll lead the technical direction for Phase 2 of a large-scale cloud modernization initiative. You’ll collaborate closely with software engineers, DevOps/TIO teams, and product stakeholders to assess current infrastructure and delivery practices, identify gaps, and drive adoption of modern, cloud-native patterns. Your focus will be on re-platforming legacy systems, refactoring applications, and standardizing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. You’ll facilitate and lead technical workshops, guide teams through elaboration sessions, and help define the “true north” architecture—centered around immutable infrastructure and containerized deployments on Kubernetes (EKS). While this is not a hands-on build role, you’ll be expected to bring deep technical expertise and may prototype solutions when needed. You’ll also serve as a strategic advisor, challenging existing approaches diplomatically and helping teams align with long-term modernization goals.
