Job Description

A family-focused legal practice serving Philadelphia and the surrounding counties is seeking a part-time Legal Intern/Legal Assistant to support daily administrative operations. This firm handles divorce, custody, support, adoption, and estate planning matters, providing clients with compassionate, timely service.
This position is ideal for someone early in their legal career who wants hands-on exposure to family law while building administrative, client-service, and office management skills. No legal experience is required, they are willing to train the right person.
The role begins as a short-term contract but has strong potential to convert to permanent. You’ll work mostly in-office (Mon/Wed/Thurs, flexible half or full days; limited or no Tuesday/Friday work).

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle phones, scheduling, filing, and general office responsibilities
• Comfort working onsite in the Philadelphia office
• Reliable, organized, and able to support multiple priorities
• Able to pass standard background requirements

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in an office, receptionist, admin, or customer service role
• Exposure to family law, legal internships, or legal coursework
• Prior experience supporting more than one executive or attorney
