Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in Labor Analytics reporting that will drive strategic decision making and operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decision-making across labor and financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of labor metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that support organizational and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and anomalies in labor and financial reporting. Collaborate with business leaders to ensure insights align with organizational and project goals.

Curiosity & Critical Thinking:
Demonstrate a natural curiosity and a drive to ask thought-provoking questions that challenge assumptions and uncover deeper insights. Proactively explore data to identify patterns and connections others might miss.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations leaders to ensure insights are aligned with strategic goals. Integrate feedback from cross-functional teams as needed.

Data Storytelling:
Craft compelling narratives from data to help stakeholders understand the “why” behind the numbers. Present insights in a clear, engaging manner that drives action and aligns with strategic goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

3+ years of proven experience as a business analyst, ideally with a focus on HR, labor, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of financial concepts, labor metrics, and business operations.

Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, Qlik, or related tools.
Familiarity with financial and labor management systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle SAP).
Experience with SQL data warehousing and integrating various data sources is preferred but not necessary.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with DAX and Power BI Service (publishing, sharing, and managing reports).
