One of our large engineering clients located in Philadelphia, PA is actively seeking a Construction Inspector to join their growing team. This candidate functions as an onsite representative of the project. They observe, inspect, and document projects for quality, safety, and workmanship. Construction projects will typically consist of new construction and/or rehabilitation of existing structures that may include green storm-water infrastructure, subsurface water distribution and wastewater collection lines, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and other related structures. A knowledge or background in civil construction inspection and/or management is ideal.

- 3+ years of experience in construction inspection/management
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with the construction of civil and wastewater projects
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications
- Experience taking site pictures and handling daily logs
- Knowledge of applicable city codes and ordinances local to Philadelphia
- Knowledge of safety regulations is required (appropriate OSHA construction safety training a plus)
- Past experience with municipal construction
- ACI, UCC, and/or IBC certification
