Job Description

We are hiring two AI/LLM Engineers (1 Mid-Level, 1 Senior) to join a small, focused team building backend features for an existing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service. You'll work on extracting structured data from diverse content typesimages, graphs, eBooks, journals, and moreusing visual-based models. This role involves experimentation, model development, and comparing LLMs for visual RAG use cases. Youll deploy code to non-prod environments and support production rollout in collaboration with the DevOps team. While primarily a heads-down, individual contributor role, clear communication and collaboration with the team is expected.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer

2+ years of Python development experience, including API creation, model training, testing, and general backend programming

Familiarity with LangChain for building LLM workflows using tools, memory, and retrieval.

Strong communication skills able to work independently while providing clear updates to the team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (IAM, VPC, S3, etc.)

Experience with OpenSearch

Experience with Airflow and understanding of data orchestration

Exposure to RAG architectures, especially visual RAG use cases
