Job Description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to support and expand its enterprise container platform environment. This engineer will be responsible for building, automating, and supporting OpenShift-based infrastructure, enabling application teams through GitOps, CI/CD automation, service mesh technologies, and platform engineering best practices.
This role is ideal for an engineer with deep hands-on experience in Helm, ArgoCD, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, and GitOps workflows who enjoys building scalable platform solutions and enabling application deployment at enterprise scale.
The team is heavily invested in OpenShift and container platform modernization, making this a highly technical engineering role rather than a traditional cloud administration position.

Administer and support OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO) environments
Design, build, and maintain complex Helm charts used for platform and application deployments
Implement and support GitOps deployment workflows using ArgoCD
Configure and manage OpenShift operators, platform services, networking, and application onboarding
Support Kubernetes-based containerized workloads and platform operations
Develop automation solutions using Bash and infrastructure scripting
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency
Participate in platform upgrades, service mesh implementations, and environment modernization initiatives
Troubleshoot production issues across Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitOps, and container environments
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and platform automation efforts
