Job Description

Overview:
Insight Global is in search of a resource to support a large pharmaceutical client as a Process Support Engineer in Myerstown, PA. This resource will support the installation and process improvement initiatives related to pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment & systems. This resource will also be ensuring these processes are properly tested, documented, and reported to meet regulatory requirements and company standards. This role involves close partnership with The Lead C&Q Engineer, production staff, and Technology Integrators to manage and track C&Q activities throughout the project lifecycle and working closely with cross-functional teams to guarantee compliance and operational readiness. The Process Support Engineer will be heavily responsible for documentation and report writing and filing, executing process improvement and C&Q activities on the floor, as well as working closely with various vendors involved.

Day to Day:
Support capital project engineers in providing documented evidence that all equipment and utilities are qualified so that they deliver processes and products that comply to regulatory and business specifications.
Review and execute qualification protocols, tests and reports based on user requirements and other relevant information as delivered by project team. Assist project team in acting on project documents as required for commissioning and qualification.
Participate in all qualification activities from capital engineering projects. Support the coordination and support of the change control & implementation of GMP Status Review. Some of the report reviews may include quality impact assessment and GMP adherence.
Partner with other cross functional teams to establish priorities and schedule activities to ensure project timelines and milestones are met. Routinely communicate project status to stakeholders and vendors.
Participate in the development of local standard operating procedures according to global guidelines.
Review and assess the technical system qualification status periodically.
Perform other on floor tasks as assigned by The Lead C&Q Engineer.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience within a GMP role
o V&V activities, commissioning, knowledge of risk assessment, etc.
o Experience working within a QA / QC / Production role
- Experience from a highly regulated industry
o Medical Device, Food & Beverage industry, etc.
- Experience executing process improvement practices on a manufacturing floor
- High proficiency of written and spoken communication
- MS Office

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, chemistry, manufacturing, or related field
- Experience specifically within the pharmaceutical field
- SharePoint experience
