Job Description
One of Insight Global's utilities clients is looking for a SCADA Project Engineer II to join their growing team in Bryn Mawr, PA. This role is 5 days a week onsite with future remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT components across OT/SCADA projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure compliance with IT PMO processes and Corporate Engineering standards, supporting project teams in documentation, methodologies, and governance.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including system requirements, functional specs, financial constraints, and resource allocations.
- Monitor and report on program performance, tracking schedules, risks, budgets, and quality metrics through regular updates and status meetings.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, SCADA, operations, and business teams to deliver impactful, reliable, and efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or a related field (required).
- 2–5 years of experience in designing and installing SCADA/control systems for water/wastewater utility sector, with strong knowledge of SCADA architecture and cybersecurity principles.
- Project coordination or management experience (minimum 2 years), with familiarity in tools like PPM Pro, MS Project, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Technical proficiency in SCADA platforms such as GE iFix, Wonderware System Platform, or GeoSCADA Expert, plus foundational knowledge of networking, Microsoft Server, and Active Directory.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams; utility industry experience is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with SCADA and reporting tools, including Win-911, TopView, XL Reporter, and Dream Reports, with a solid understanding of PLC-based control systems and instrumentation.
- Proficient in PLC configuration software, such as Rockwell Studio5000, Schneider EcoStruxure, and RemoteConnect; familiarity with industry standards like ISA-101, ISA-18.1, and ISA-62443/NIST 800.82.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, with experience using PROCORE
