Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Center Operator to join our team on a PART TIME basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the health and cleanliness of our data room, which houses 40 servers and 18 racks. The operator will assist with the setup and decommissioning of servers, support network engineering tasks, and provide desktop support. Their data room is expanding wit the addition of new servers, and we need a dedicated operator to manage this growth and maintain the space.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of datacenter environments, servers, and network equipment.
Experience in installing, monitoring, and maintaining datacenter equipment.
Exceptional ability to work as part of a team, provide IT support, and resolve errors.
Ability to keep up with advancements in datacenter infrastructure and technologies.
Proficiency in documenting processes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Basic knowledge of desktop support and troubleshooting
Experience with Dell hardware.
MTA, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or A+ certifications.
Understanding of LAN/WAN & networking protocols.
CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network, or CCNP certification would be advantageous.
