Job Description

In this role, you will support business teams and work closely with others daily to achieve success and deliver results. You will ensure that all client requirements related to sustainability and the Social Compliance Standard are met by business partners in a Supply Area. This involves performing assessments, trainings, and verifications in accordance with relevant working methods. Your responsibilities will include planning and performing initial risk assessments, gap assessments, and regular verification activities related to the company compliance standards. You will update and maintain necessary systems where reports and results are registered, support business development teams during implementations, maintenance, and development process at suppliers and sub-suppliers, and train, transfer knowledge, and support suppliers and business development teams on requirements, working methods, and compliance agenda. Additionally, you will gather and analyze information to draw objective conclusions about compliance/non-compliance, apply verification methods including facility walkthroughs, document reviews, and co-worker interviews, and review root cause analysis of repeat non-compliance to help suppliers achieve compliance. You will also support global sustainability projects related to sustainability and social compliance, responsible raw material sourcing, human rights, and animal welfare as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Comfortable traveling 30%
- 3-4 years experience in environmental health & safety, corporate social responsibility and/or compliance verification/auditing
