Job Description
A client in the healthcare payor space is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to deliver enterprise healthcare applications within a Population Health environment. This person will play a key part in bringing .NET and SSIS expertise to the team that is needed. This role is focused on backend development, database design, and enterprise integrations and will leverage their critical thinking skills to drive forward enhancement and net-new development initiatives. Key Responsibilities include:
• Develop and enhance backend applications using .NET and SQL Server
• Design, build, and optimize SSIS packages and database objects
• Write efficient algorithms and business logic to support scalable systems
• Support data integrations and backend services connected to front-end platforms
• Collaborate with onshore technical leads for requirements and knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience developing backend systems using C# / .NET
- Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API
- Experience implementing SOA architectures, including REST and SOAP/WCF services
- Proficiency working with JSON and XML
- Strong experience with SQL Server stored procedures, complex queries, views, triggers
- Solid understanding of application architecture, including business layer and data access layer design
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on work with:
- Multiple data sources (flat files, Excel, SQL Server)
- Data transformations and loop-based ETL execution
- Experience creating or supporting Windows Services
- Experience with SOAP UI
- Background working with ETL processes and XML-heavy integrations
- Full-stack experience (frontend exposure alongside backend focus)
