Job Description
In this role, you will lead cloud-first modernization efforts with a focus on the Azure-based disaster recovery migration, while establishing standardized patterns that benefit both cloud and on-prem environments. You will design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for cloud services—extending to networking constructs such as VNets, subnets, routing, DNS, and security controls—and contribute to container orchestration patterns with Kubernetes. You will shape and support CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, partnering closely with application development, platform, and networking teams to build reusable modules, guardrails, and steady-state operations. A key expectation is pairing with internal engineers to transfer knowledge, uplift cloud and DevOps capabilities, and promote consistent practices across commercial business units operating in hybrid (on-prem and Azure/AWS) environments.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer
• Cloud expertise with Azure (preferred) or AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Experience with Containerization using Kubernetes
• Experience with Operating systems (OS): Linux/Unix or Windows
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Cloud networking fundamentals: VNet design, subnets, routing, DNS, security groups/firewalls, network IaC
• Experience driving disaster recovery (DR) migrations to Azure
• Recent/active Public Trust Security clearance strongly preferred (last 12 months) to accelerate onboarding.
• Comfortable pairing with and coaching existing Systems Engineers
