Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a dedicated manufacturing testing specialist in the Findlay Township, PA area. This individual will be responsible for strictly adhering to procedures and protocols for testing of solar inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives. This includes, but is not limited to, power drive models, basic drive modules, and medium voltage AC and DC drives. This candidate will be expected to execute functional testing, develop test labs, and establish test procedure requirements. As always, this specialist will ensure compliance with the company's quality policy and EHS requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in equipment testing.

Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing and exposure to quality, engineering, lean/5S, testing or engineering processes.
Knowledge of IEC and UL certifications and requirements
Experience with Continuous Improvement practices --
identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
Experience with full functional testing     
insulation and Hi-Pot testing, I/O verification, cooling system functionality, and performance testing.
