Backend Developer

Our client, a leading global manufacturer in the design and production of technologically advanced, high quality, integrated containment and delivery systems for injectable medicines, is seeking a Backend Developer to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role and the team goes into the office 3x a week, typically Tuesday-Thursday. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a C#, .NET Core environment (they are using V8), experience with ODATA/JSON to handle data exchange, experience managing and interacting with SQL Server Database, experience developing Microservices/SPIs that will run in Docker containers, and setting up CI/CD pipelines to automate the process of testing and deploying code. This client is developing a new manufacturing system in house to replace their old MES system. This new system will be implemented throughout their plants nationwide and will connect to IOT equipment as well as their ERP system which is S4-HANA. On the backend this resource will utilize .NET Core in a microservices architecture environment. There will be a lot of API backend services and the team uses SQL server and MongoDB.

-3-5 years of backend development
-C#, .NET Core experience (they're using V8 but any recent version will do) to write the core logic of the system
-ODATA/JSON to handle data exchange between different parts of the system
-SQL Server to manage and interact with the SQL server database to store, retrieve, and manipulate data
-Experience developing microservices/APIs (preferably that run in Docker containers) to help break down the system into smaller, manageable pieces that can be developed, deployed and scaled independently
-Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines to automate the process of testing and deploying code, ensuring that updates to the system are rolled out smoothly and reliably
-Located within 50 miles of Exton PA + willingness to go onsite 3x a week
