Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to support a large-scale customer WMS integration for our 3PL customer. This role focuses on test automation across complex, high-volume warehouse operations where reliability and accuracy are critical. This is a no-fail environment requiring battle-tested automation experience, acting as a critical quality gate in implementation. On a day to day basis, this role partners closely with Manhattan WMS configurators, QA leads, and developers to design and execute automated testing across inbound, outbound, inventory, and labeling workflows in Manhattan WMS 2018. They translate frequent configuration and build changes into reliable regression coverage, validate data integrity using SQL, and support rapid build test deploy cycles across multiple site launches using a leapfrog rollout approach. This role is hands on through deployments and stabilization, ensuring changes move quickly without introducing risk in a regulated, high volume environment.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks supporting Manhattan WMS 2018
• Develop automation scripts for regression, integration, and deployment testing
• Partner closely with functional configurators and QA leads during build, test, and deploy cycles
• Validate end-to-end workflows including inbound, outbound, labeling, and regulatory constraints
• Participate in deployment waves across multiple site launches using a leapfrog delivery model
• Support defect triage and root cause analysis with development and functional teams

Required Skills & Experience
• 6+ years in automation engineering for enterprise platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks
• Experience testing WMS or large-scale supply chain systems (Manhattan preferred)
• Strong understanding of SQL and data validation
• Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, pharma, or similar)

• Prior work in hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models
